Brought the '12 Charger R/T in for the last airbag recall (I hope) this morning.
Minding my own beeswax in the waiting area... until the salesmen showed up, that is.
Wanted to sell me one of these:

Two words is all it took for them to shoo off:
"I'm unemployed".

So....how is everyone else's morning going?
 
I hear ya. I took a 10 pct pay cut with the possibility of lay off. Of course several collectible mopars came to my attention by word of mouth. Probably for the same reason!
 
Well I'm not unemployed ...yet...and I'm being paid 80 percent of my wages by due to the government's scheme so not too bad compared to some. But I'm very concerned about whether my company can make enough money in whats left of the season to get us through the winter...I sell caravans (is that touring trailers to you!) so very seasonal...if I lose my job then there will be no government help then.....
That's a pretty car...no Dodge dealers in UK...I have to get most of my parts from the US...then pay shipping and import tax...including import tax on the shipping costs!

Did the Takata airbag recall on both the 06 and the 09. The ONLY time they ever saw the dealer. It was not a pleasant experience. Hope there is not a second recall.

Should have asked first to take the Hellcat around the block.
 
So far I've been lucky. Still working, at least from home. My plan is to retire on August 28th. Hope everyone else is doing good and keeping safe. This crap will be over soon I hope......
 
The 0% financing sure has me wanting to replace my 110,000 mile 2014 grand cherokee. But....I am on every other week furlough until people start flying again. I may be in that situation for the rest of the year at least.

Nah, I've driven a few of 'em before. Didn't want to get their hopes up - mostly because every single employee
of our local dealership gives me the creeps.
It's like where other dealers send their misfits when they cast them out or something...
zero customer skills, hell, PEOPLE skills are lacking in most of 'em.

Yep, this makes both airbags done in the Charger and the Ram already had both done a few years back, so
I have no further need for a dealer anytime soon - and it won't be them when I do, sadly.
