Windshield wash pump question

Hey all,

I'm looking to replace the wash pump for the reservoir on my Bird. The pump actually works but the years of service has taken a toll on its looks

I thought it would be just as easy to install a new pump with a new reservoir tank (brittle and cracked) and keep the originals together since the ground wire grommet of the pump is attached to the reservoir.

All I'm seeing are completely white housings and metal casing (no black spacer) and no cone shape on the metal casing.

I did see one almost identical on ebay but not exactly. Even stated that it was a close replacement.

My question is, does anyone sell a repop that looks identical to the stock ? One that has the black body spacer between the two casing and with the conical shape at the end OR does anyone rebuild these ?

I'll be following this because i've been wondering the same thing.. my 67 pump housing is badly pitted. i was thinking i could find another pump housing and have it plated and re-installed on mine????
