Hey there. I searched the archive, couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I am about to replace the torsion bars on my 68 Charger which are the original 50 year old ones including the bolts and adjusters. I bought the 1" PST set and my question is will my current stock bolts be too long and hang down below the lower control arm?

Do I need shorter bolts for these bars? Appreciate the feedback!

No need to change the bolts. Even if they stick out a little they will be higher than the lowest point of the control arm.

Great, thank you for the replies. Those suckers are expensive, glad I can use my old ones.
