HELLO RACEDODGE, I AM VERY NEW TO THIS FORUM. THIS IS MY FIRST PARTICIPATION ON THIS SITE. I FOLLOWED A FEW OF YOUR THREADS AND FOUND THEM VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. JUST TO GIVE YOU A LITTLE HISTORY. I PURCHASED A NEW TRANSMISSION FROM CRT A FEW YEARS AGO THEN HAD SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS, SO THIS PROJECT IS TAKING A VERY LONG TIME. THE WARRANTY IS NOW OUT OF DATE AND I'M STUCK. I GAVE JOHN ( CRT ) A CALL BUT HAVEN'T HEARD BACK. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO TAKE LINE PRESSURES. I DID THAT. ALL OF THE PRESSURE POINTS READ GOOD EXCEPT, THE FRONT SERVO GAUGE WHICH HAD NO PSI. IN ANY OF THE GEARS. IT HAS BEEN ON JACK STANDS THE LAST 2 YEARS AND IS THE ONLY THING HOLDING ME FROM DRIVING. I AM NOW RETIRED AND ON A FIXED INCOME. HOPEFULLY YOU CAN GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT!? Since the front (kickdown) servo is only applied during 2nd, are you having issues with it not going into 2nd, or moving forward in general? If it's just a kickdown band apply issue you could drop the vb and perform an air check using the apply port in the case to verify if the servo is functioning properly. If so, check vb for any valves hanging up.
 
Tell us more about this trans. What did you tell him you wanted, use of the car, etc.
How mush did it cost?

I heard problems with CRT in house valve bodies on moparts. My friend bought a CRT complete bracket race trans, toasted the first weekend out. CRT said he had a bad run of valve bodies and thought he had them fixed.

that’s not what you want to hear after spending $2500 with the guy.

So keep on him and give him the answers he asks for but don’t let accept his promises because he tends to over promise and under deliver when problem arise like this. You spent the money for something that works.

HELLO, THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT. THIS IS A PRO STREET VERSION BUILT AND ASSEMBLED BY HIM. IT DOESN'T ENGAGE IN ANY GEAR. NO MOVEMENT AT ALL! THE BEST WAY I CAN EXPLAIN IT IS THAT IT FEELS LIKE A TRANNY BRAKE THAT WON'T RELEASE AND THAT'S WHAT I SAID TO HIM TOO. YES I SPENT THAT KIND OF $$$ WITH HIM AS WELL.
