Has anybody bought parts from the Ram Man

I recently sent him my master cylinder and booster for a rebuild, spoke to the secretary about 6 times, took him 4 months to complete the job. I was getting worried and asked if he could send the units back, said he had to work on the master cylinder again because it failed. It took awhile and had me worried but I received the rebuilt units in great shape. I'll wait to see how the rebuild performs over time before I comment on a recommendation.
Ordered front brake kit and power brake booster assembly. All paid for. No product or answers to my several phone messages and emails

Hope this turns out ok

I did get my order. The product is as described. The communication was very poor.
This turned out to be OK.

Has the Ram Man Wayne been put on the Funny Farm or is the Orange suit he wears in videos a Prison Jumper?

Bought a Booster and they sent the wrong one!

....yeah, that guy is a mess......probably not even him who sent the part sir......

The seem to have been hiding Wayne for the past few years. A woman took my order a few weeks ago.
A unique rear bellows Collar on their booster didnt fit the firewall plate..... so we bored it and wallowed the mount holes.
Mount bolts still wont fit through 69 Charger firewall and I wont cut this #'s car.
I started watching his vids and there is an E body Bendix version with larger bolt pattern.
Ive been calling and emailing for like 10 days! both #'s

Both Pirate Jack and Stepps (both out of Asheville...same folks?) sell entire kits close on East Coast.
I do like Cass but need it sooner.

The guy lives down the street from my aunt....but they are notoriously hard to get.....especially when they owe you...

He needs to sell to customers m, n, and o to
Refund customer a.....

He is probably Frank's nephew.....

Hey everyone...new member here.

I was actually searching for a Bendix M/C and Brake Booster and came across The Ram Man's website. Seems I am fortunate enough to have the rare Bendix 2226821 right-side (engine) exit master cylinder. I am needing to find a replacement for it and the booster as well. I also seem to be even more fortunate as to come across this post, even though it started back in 2015. I had already email TRM, as well as Cass at DoctorDiff. Just waiting on responses. Cass responded and I replied but have not heard back from him as of yet.

Question for any of you....this 1968 obviously was ordered with the 4-piton caliper disc brakes on it. Any suggestions on which direction to go to replace them? I searched for rotors ($300 each) and then found an NOS M/C for $800. Thats just not going to happen. The car will not be sold as it is still the original owners, and after that his children will keep it.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Have the master you have sleeved and rebuilt. Rotor at Year One don't know cost. If the car is a legacy car to stay in family the $300 a rotor you could look at it this way remember they will last 80,000 miles.

mobileparts,

I will send you a message either later tonight or tomorrow morning. Thank you for the reply.

I paid $2090 to The Ram Man Inc. for a disk brake conversion kit for my Dodge D300. First, the DVD with the instructions was unreadable and I repeatedly asked for a new one with no response. Second, the brackets that mount the front calipers are wrong and won't work. 8 phone calls, a detailed email and a Priority Mail packet sent have received no response whatsoever. I've been force to place the purchase in Dispute status with my credit card company and have lodged a BBB complaint against The Ram Man Inc. I only offer this as a "Buyer Beware" for my fellow MoPar enthusiasts.

I saw that guy at Carlisle a few years ago.
Didn't like how he treated his wife.
I would never buy anything from him.

As you have unfortunately just learned, there are several other places to buy brake stuff from that are far superior to The Ram Man.
