I am trying to locate the source of a squeak in the front suspension of my 65 Belvedere II. I have found one problem, that being the torsion bar on the passenger side was loose. This eliminated most of the squeak, however some still remains. Any suggestions on where to look next?

Spray everything with lube of some sort.

Probably pivot shaft. I had one wore so bad before it caused squeaking over larger bumps.

maybe from one of the Control Arm Camber Bolts, or upper Control Arm Bushings...

That is what I was doing when I found the nut on the torsion bar had backed off. I was hitting everything (bushing) with silicone. I think I hosed everything down pretty well in that area.

Thanks for the tip on the control arm camber bolts, I'll check that out. The bushings all looked good when I was spraying them with silicone. The car's suspension was rebuilt with all new bushings about 6 years ago and has very few miles on it. I will check them again though..

The nut on the end of it had backed off. This nut is on the end towards the front of the car. I had backed off significantly.
That is your lower control arm pivot shaft, not your torsion bar. I would question why it backed off if your rubber LCA bushing is still good.
