Oil in new build

Tools needed:

1/2” wrench
12” Long straight slot screwdriver
Needle nose pliers
1/2” or 3/4” drive ratchet or breaker bar
1 1/4” socket

You CAN do this with our help. If not then quit now.
This is an easy task, and you said how much money you have in it. Do it right.

And please stop turning the engine 1/4 turn every day, it’s not necessary. One and one quarter crank revolution per month is just fine.

Thank you sir for your point of view....

Thank you for enlightening me
I’ve just gotten used to being around younger men I guess I can’t call them kids anymore
We grew up with these awesome machines and most of the people I get to talk to don’t have a clue

I recently spoke to the builder of the engine and having the dyno at the time :luvplace:
Can you share the numbers it put down with us?
And some more build details?
Thank you in advance!

Cool........ Being it is a hemi.... I do not want to mess it up.

that's what I going to do... Thank you sir
Being as it's a Hemi might be "The Best" reason to mess with it and do it right. For all of the money you have in it if you don't feel qualified to do it why don't you hire someone to do it ? :)

Was it running before? How long? The only time I would prime is just before I started it. Why do you want to turn over? Springs won’t go bad in a year, if so a whole lot of engines would be junk. If ya got a racing cam with 800 pounds open then remove rockers, little springs no problem.
