Hey guys, I have a 1969 charger with a 440 bored .60 Mallory ignition system and mass flo fuel injection. I had it idling in the garage while I was checking the transmission fluid level when the car just stalled. No sputtering nothing was just like someone turned the key off. Did this twice and both times it starts right back up and idled fine. Nothing seems melted or warm and everything is working as it should. I should mention I never had the battery cables tightened but I’m not sure if a loose connection at the battery would cause it to stall out like that. I haven't driven the car since it’s done it but as I said starts right back up and runs fine like nothing happened. First time it’s done anything like this since I’ve owned it.

YES tighten the battery cables!...and verify good connection points and voltages all the way through the ignition system. Loose connections will wreak havoc with EFI. Beyond that, unless you can give specific details about your FI system there's probably not much anyone can do for you..EFI issues are usually better diagnosed with help from their factory techs unless it's a more common setup like the Holley Sniper, as there are quite a few folks here running those that may be able to help troubleshoot.

They weren’t loose loose they were snug as I had the battery disconnected. I do know that efi module loses its memory if the power source is cut off so basically if the battery is unhooked and it will relearn itself as you drive. So I’m wondering if maybe that didn’t also play a part in it. As mentioned above starts and runs fine and only did this twice for the first time

Do some of these setups have a automatic shutoff when idilling to long
