Fortunately a radiator is easy to replace. A slight bit of overheating should not hurt the motor. Look under the valve covers though, that tells a tale, more than just the coolant in the pan.

Sad day. I'm right there with you. My starter
locked up in the staging lanes yesterday. Time to remove a header.
 
If I get a totally clean run? That didn't go as usual. Lol. I know in my heart if I was more talented at car setup? This sport would be easier?
