My car is a 1971 Superbee EL5 butterscotch 383 4 speed which I have owned since 1982. The car has been a 30 year project. It is now time to complete the restoration.
It has just been painted, And I am putting her back together as part's are available(Covid)
The car is complete number matching vehicle so to keep from hurting the original engine I built a 400 with Edelbrock Aluminum heads, Aluminum intake and water pump. Cam is a Comp cam with .564-274 intake and .570-280 exhaust. Topping it off is a FiTech Fuel injection. Exhaust exit thru TTI headers and 3"exhaust. Rear end is a 8&3/4 with 391 gears.
If everything goes right, I'll be driving it this summer again for the first time since 1992. I can't wait to take my 24yr son his first ride in her.
