I was really on the fence on doing the same. The 4dr was a time capsule. Had a few newspapers from '71 in it along with all the original paperwork and even the Certicard. Seats were pristine all covered with plastic. The issue was titling it. I bought it from a salvage yard with Bill of sale only and the owner had passed away. Seemed like too much of a hassle when I talked with DMV.

I'm now using the 4dr as a donor so no title needed. It truly is a shame but it will live on in the 2dr. Had I not found the 4dr the 2dr would have ended up being a ratty muscle build and would have nice and dimed me to death.
