Will a 69 b body charger dash frame fit a 68 roadrunner? I’m converting my 68 roadrunner to ralley guages. The previous owner hacked up the frame in the car. If not I’ll have to splice in the guage mounting part of frame. I appreciate any advice. This is at the end of my list before finishing

It will fit. However there is a lot of differences between 68 and 69. Some are Dash pad, heater controls, ignition switch, dash wiring harness. So you pretty much want a complete dash or else you will be looking for parts.

Not a task I would undertake unless a complete dash with all wiring and accessories was included. Like @pnora said, many differences between the two years. May be just as easy or even easier to find the correct year and model dash as a replacement. Can you say "parts car"?

The top dash pads will interchange - even though they're slightly different.
Heater controls ... should be the same
Ign switch .. same on both
Harness "may" be different for the different style gauges but that should be easy enough to resolve with a FSM. The switches are all the same or similar enough so those plugs will all be fine.
The '69 lower dash pads are different from '68 and the ash tray is also different

If it were me, I would find a 68 dash frame. I don't think it will be to difficult to find one. The rallye gauges were never offered in a 68 RR and I would think that would maybe diminish the value, or at the minimum, cause potential buyers to pass it by.

Heater controls are different between the years. A/C controls are the same.
Harnesses are completely different. Lots of cutting and splicing let alone all the different cluster plugs.

Thank you very much.

I’ll be long gone when it’s sold. The original hacked it up years ago and the ralley guages are loose in a large hole. Original cluster and bench seat gone so I’m going to make the best of it

The only difference I know of between a 68 and a 69 dash frame is the size of the ignition switch hole.
