440 headers do not sit flush

I’m not sure what heads they are I took a picture of the numbers on them but don’t know if they’re really any good or not as far as performance. They’ve got the numbers 4008457 stamped into them though. If I had to guess they’re probably truck or motorhome heads considering it had a passenger side exit water pump housing on it

Casting numbers are hard to read sometimes. Could be 452 heads. I have seen pictures of them with that lip. They flow as good as any non maxi stock heads, and they have hardened seats.

I got long tube headers for my 440 and noticed there is a lip on the cylinder head that is not allowing them to sit flush on the head.
