I can't believe it has been so long since I posted anything. I haven't gotten much done on the car since installing the rear spoiler but I have been busy. I purchased a new 4 post lift and after 4 months got it and then had to install it. It will take up to 11K which is nice. So now I have a 2 post and a 4 post lift in my shop.. yay...

I also had to do some work on my lathe but I think I have that sorted out.

I just ordered a side (rail) garage door opener so that I can free up the space above the lift. This should make life much better

I have a 4 post too. Love it. And in the new garage, they installed the side mount/direct drive units and yes they do free up wasted overhead space.

I discovered that I cannot use the wall mount opener, rather I have to use a rail mounted on (which is actually cheaper)

I have been having issues with my headlights and running lights which I traced down to a bad switch. Getting that switch out with the cluster in is as far as I could tell almost impossible so I removed the cluster (not fun). I discovered that my "power" wire was broken and another wire was cracked (these are brand new wires) and upon looking at the plug realized that it was making contact with the upper cowl or at least did at some point when I was installing the dash. So now I will make an extension and use a new plug.. never ends. I also need to test my hvac controls because they didn't seem real happy either.

The new standard switch is different than the stock one so the plug would not even work if I wanted to use it (the terminal at the top right is canted on the OEM one, it is straight in the new one not to mention the new switch has more terminals).

I see its been awhile since I updated this. I have not gotten a lot done one the car (solid procrastinating) but I did get some shop upgrades done so I am happy with that.

Those who have followed along or read through this thread might remember that I used a 4 channel relay panel made by Leash Electronics to control my headlights and my fans.

Well that relay panel failed which is why my headlights (and fans) would not work. Specifically the main 12V stud snapped off thus I could not power it.

MSD recently released a new 4 channel relay board which I bought and am using to replace the LEASH version. It is slightly larger but I like it because the top cover is easily removed to get to the fuses whereas with the Leash version you had to remove 4 small screws (no way you would do that on the side of the road at night).

I had to modify my mounting panel but am now moving forward.

I am attaching a picture of the 10 windows I put into one of my shop's doors. This was a result of having put 12 windows into my other shop's doors which I really love.

I have my Holley ECU mounted underneath and to my glove box. I removed the GB door and ECU so that I could get to the vintage air unit as it does not work (still trying to figure that out).

I had originally mounted it using rivnuts however when I removed the ECU one of the rivnuts came out and after a careful inspection I realized that the standard rivnuts were not good for use on plastic. So I did a little research and found these, I think they will work well although they will be visible in the GB.

I finally got my MSD 4 channel relay board sorted out, got the headlights working and the fans. I am now trying to figure out why the vintage air isn't working.

Unfortunately I had a MC accident yesterday so that is going to greatly slow me down as I am somewhat beat up. Fortunately it was a relatively low speed deal, hit a deer at 33 mph.
