Carb Spacer Tech

I currently run an open 1/2" phenolic carb spacer with my dual plane Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. I'd like to try a tapered 4 hole spacer and a divided spacer to compare performance at part throttle as well as mid and top end.

For the divided spacers, the only ones I'm seeing on Summit are these 2 by Edelbrock. Good choice? How do I know if I need the one with a single bolt hole in each corner vs the one with two bolt holes in each corner for my QF holley style carb?

Those are just edelbrocks ,there’s plenty more from other manufacturers and at some crazy prices too.

any supplier sources you can point me to? I usually buy from Summit and Summit only lists these 2 Edelbrock's.

My friend who services street rods (32 Fords with Chevy 350) swears by these

while I am benefiting from the spacer being a heat shield, I'm also wanting a performance bump for throttle response, hence the tapered 4 hole and divided spacer inquiry.

You need spacers with the outer holes for a H carb. Interesting test, please report results.

Wilson manifolds has many choices too $$$$.
