Hello Everyone,
I’m in the process of installing a new headliner in my 67 Belvedere. It’s going well, I have it installed to the slope of the rear windows and approaching the sail panels and the curvature of the roof. Does anyone have a trick to get the wrinkles out in this area and where it approaches the rear deck?
Thanks

Have you tried a heat gun/hairdryer yet? I seem to remember fellas using them.
Mike

I used the hair dryer on the front of the headliner to get out a stubborn fold, it helped some. I’ll give it another try on the back corners. Thanks

Keep us posted. One of the things on my list of things to do that I am afraid to do.

Will do, ordered metal binder clips to hold it in place will working on it, hopefully will help, back at it soon.

I hung my headliner in garage for a few weeks while I did other things, helped with the wrinkles.
Then I bought a box of binder clips and clipped the liner every few inches. Daily I would slightly pull tension then re clip the liner. Probably did this for a week before permanently glueing and using factory clips.
