Under what theory does this new by-pass operate? I take it your regulator only has one inlet and outlet? Does the by-passed fuel return to the tank? Is this to avoid overheating the fuel? Do you have a gauge before and after the regulator? There, that's enough questions!

What type/brand of traction bars? Stiffer gears will help but slicks and wheel well tubbing may not be necessary. Look what the small tire racers do on their launches.

The filter is important in the case of a fresh rebuild but, unless the engine is self destructing (in which case you are in trouble) I do not believe it is working very hard. I think we could get by with a tiny filter, as long as it flowed enough oil.

I have a coolant leak showing on the bottom of the transmission converter housing. It has wetted the threads of the right side 7/16 bolt and even shows one drop on the edge of the flex plate. The right side up to the cylinder head looks dry. I am using Mopar antifreeze which is pink so I thought...
I have 2 rev limiters on my 540 engine, fuel and ignition. Should I use one or the other, both, or both staggered (different limits)? Thanks for your time.

How about a picture? A crankcase explosion would have bulged everywhere not a single hole such as you have. Did something break and cause said hole?

Sounds good to me Doug! I would imagine you have the jetting dialed in which really does make the engine sound milder. Sort of like fuel injection and improved ignition systems do.
