At my wits end: Need help with driveline vibration

I have been getting a different vibration than the one I just dealt. It ended up being the driver side header rubbing on the driver side torsion bar. We forced the exhaust over and got more clearance and the vibration is gone. Good luck.

    Rookie move, need advice

Started on my Scarebird install. Got everything off, including the drum backing plate and “ping” the car jumped up a few inches. Is there any way to get the lower control arm back up without dropping the torsion bar??? Any ideas would be appreciated, car is stripped so it’s too light to jack.

PST delrin bushed upper control arms ?Greasable pivot bush ?

Hey! I wanted to contribute here. I've installed the PST upper arms in my 69 charger, and after about a year of daily driving in Seattle, here's my report: Short answer: They're good, they squeak when wet, and you may need to modify the mounting brackets for proper install. Long answer: PST...

PST Adjustable Strut Rods Pro and Con

Negative Ghost rider! Lol! Because the bars themselves are adjustable, you don’t run into that problem. The proper way to set them up is this.... 1. Take shock and torsion bar out 2. Install the adjustable PST strut rod 3. Now using a jack, cycle the suspension up/down and adjust the bar...

Least $ power steering box ?

It’s been over 4 months since I’ve driven my car, but as I recall the Borgeson steering feels kinda similar to the power steering in my 2001 Accord Coupe. As in tight and modern.. There are no “dead spots”. No steering with one finger, not enough assist for that. No little corrections needed...

    Pre-bent Fuel Line

I bought a pre-bent fuel line for my 1969 Coronet 2-door post car. It shipped with a big U bend about in the center. Seems like the only way is to bend it out mostly straight then insert it at the rear wheel well first and wiggle it into position behind the back seat. Then get under the car...

    Rookie move, need advice

First step is to go buy yourself a service manual before you hurt yourself. Then back off the torsion bar adjusting bolt like you should've in the first place. Once the load is removed from the spring you can easily move the LCA. You do not need a come along or weight on the car or straps. Hard...
