I just finished the installation of a GearVendors overdrive in my 67Coronet R/T. 500 stroker with a 727, 3.23 axle with 26" tires. It went as expected per their install instructions, other than I had to dent the tunnel more than they described. I have stock manifolds with an Accurate exhaust...
I have the bucket seats out of the car and apart, but the hardware attaching the seat backs to the seat bottoms is incomplete. I have the shouldered bolts and three of four fiber washers. I also have two steel washers. My question is should the steel washer holes stop the washer at the shoulder...
Lots of u-tube videos out there of guys rejuvenating dead batteries. Anyone had any luck breathing new live into old batteries, and does it last? What methods did you use?
Which of you took a spouse to a movie on your 1st date, and which movie did you see?
My 1st wife- “The Valachi Papers”, lasted 10 miserable years.
2nd wife- “ The Bodyguard”, 30 fantastic years and counting.
I'm working on a 440. Stock manifolds, 440 Stealth heads, Comp Cams XE262H-10 cam and lifters, Comp Cams Ultra Pro Magnum adjustable roller rockers. I need shorter pushrods- 9.100", which I ordered from Smith Bros. They came today, and unfortunately, are drilled for oil-thru. I saw posts here...

“Balls” is when you come home late after a night out drinking...
Just installed a pair of 440 Source stealth heads with their head gaskets. I'm using Comp Cams hydraulic lifters with their XE-262H-10 cam. With no pre-load, my pushrod length checker measures 9.200 in. My pushrods measure 9.300 in. Is this too much pre--load. Should I be looking for 9.250in...
How many of you have had a torsion bar break. I had a 73 Satellite in the late 70’s. Parked on a job site in the morning, and when I got back in the car to drive home, noticed something wrong . Torsion bar broke sitting still.
On a 69 GTX, if a Dana 60 axle was swapped out to an 8 3/4, would the driveshaft length remain the same? I don't have the Dana available to measure and compare. Thanks.
