I finally get the heat restored and replaced...the windshield removed, regasketed and resealed...and wham! Both front doors magically gave up the ghost at the same time! The doors close unimpeded into proper position, but then they fall back out that magical half inch. Why wont it stay...

Greetings! 1968 four door plym satellite. Did the car originally come with a vented gas cap? Has non vent on now. Sure could use a few ideas on where to start the checklist of probably causes. not seeing gas anywhere - not running way rich...notice mostly after speed changes (slosh?). Thanks...

WOW. Just wow. I know things aren't as cheap as they used to be...but 4-5 grand for manual kit? And the car still has to be cannibalized? :) Even a donor Chrysler 4 speed is no small feat to install. Lesson learned. Not saying thats it's absolutely not "worth it". But wow. Anyone else remember...
