So, I'm trying to browse my attachments.
Trying to click page 2.
There is an ad that takes a long time to load directly on top of the links to the pages and "next".
The cursor does not change (to enable clicking) until the ad fully loads.
I click the "X" in the upper right corner to close...
I found a car I really like but it's at an auction and I can't bid because I'm not a dealer or dismantler.
Unfortunately the auction ends tomorrow.
We can discuss a fee.
The car did not sell the last time I was run through, but I have no idea what their procedures are.
Thanks.
Looks like a TV service kit for repair techs.
Has some Zenith brand, individually packaged IC's and transistors.
Also a tester with an interesting interface on the back, possibly to test various legs of those IC's.
...and a reference booklet listing models by "first built" date from 1972 to 1984.
I've had a hell of a time with these.
First one broke all the pins trying to get it out.
Second one was warped and won't seat, then broke a pin.
Had a third but is super ugly and chipped.
Not crazy about spending an arm or leg.
I think I have a driver quality Charger SE I could trade.
A co-worker has an '81 CJ-7 Renegade.
I've been jokingly ofering to buy it since I started here in 2017.
Today, off the cuff she said it needed to go and offered it to me for 5K.
It's a 258 (IIRC) 4 speed, and is in it's original brown paint with the graphics on the hood.
It has had some...
So, last week I drove my car to work and the AC quit blowing cold on the way home.
Yesterday I started poking around and as soon as I took off the cap from the port on the back of the compressor, it hissed out 134.
OK, so far easy enough. But when I tried to tighten the valve, it didn't move and...
So we have 2 rental houses, across the street from each other in the same neighborhood, built approximately at the same time 1999/2000.
Two tenants ago, the ditz backed into the garage door.
We had a new door and opener installed. Lift Master brand.
That was around 2019.
Yesterday the new...
Mr. Nixon, who described himself as a mix of Foghorn Leghorn, Elvis Presley and Otis Campbell (Mayberry’s town drunk on “The Andy Griffith Show”), came to national prominence in 1987, when he released his third studio album, “Bo-Day-Shus!!!,” with washboard player and multi-instrumentalist Skid...
Or actually two of them at a thrift store for a total of $5.
I've been thinking of trying them for the occasional "don't claw the couch" and "get of the counter" moments with our cats.
I only got 8 "bullets" or darts or whatever they call the ammo, so I thought I'd get some from ebay.
WHOA...
We bought two of these a few years ago to speed the turnover of our rental properties.
They worked well, but cleanup takes up almost as much time as they save in labor.
Painting doors and ceilings is the real time/labor savings, though.
This time around, I got one set of doors painted and the...
A few months ago, one of our skylights started leaking (I know, but it's a dark room and they really help).
The roof is coming up on 14 years old, so we got estimates.
17K for shingles (12-20 year life expectancy)
26K for metal, without removing the existing shingles
30K for metal including...
So, we're renovating a rental house after an 8.5 year tenant.
Around the corner, a house was on the market and sold last weekend.
This past weekend the sellers had a yard sale and then put stuff out by the curb.
As I drove by, I thought one item was a computer case or a subwoofer (hey, I've...
Was not aware of these.
Seems like it's a second run.
Mine is dirty and has camping gear on the roof rack.
The one pictured has a 68 grill but listed as a 69.
Will have to look at mine to see if they fixed that for this run.
