Question is with a 68 Charger R/T without a fender tag or build sheet can it be said that it is definitely an R/T by the vin? Is the value of the car really hurt by not having those two items. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi. I have a question if anyone knows. On my aluminum timing cover: which is already on the car, it has no timing marker. Didn't notice or think about it when it was put on. How can a person time without that or can it not be done? Thanks for any info. 440 stroker engine by the way.
