On Holley's website they show 3 different types of the 3310 carb: Dichromate(zinc body), polished aluminum(zinc body), and polished aluminum(aluminum body).
Considering today's fuels, would the aluminum unit dissipate heat better than the zinc, but suffer from oxidation issues?
I'm confused... is this old school thinking? Isn't it far better to have all the tubes equal length to get the most out of your system? Or is this a race only item that has shown no benefit on the street?
I am finally rebuilding my 70 4spd RR and it will have a 440 stroker instead of the NOM...

I have a heater core that was in a car from Florida. Evidently they didn't use any antifreeze until the car came to Minnesota. It is clogged up and wont pass any fluid through it. My 22" radiator is also gummed up pretty bad since the 383 had overheating issues. Is it better to have them cleaned...
Hi!!! I just found this site and had to join right away. What a great place to learn and share.
My car is a basket case that was beaten like a rented mule before I bought it in 83. I was going to college and it was all I could afford at the time. It was originally a 383/4spd Sandpebble Beige...
