Today was the rain date for this annual show. As is often the case, the postponed event hurt attendance. But, there were still some nice B bodies there.
It's been years, more than twenty years, since I've had bumpers that I had to have rechromed. Back then, my go to place was always Tri-City Plating in Tennessee. They always had the best reviews, and the best warranty, the best customer service and reasonable prices. So, when I needed to get a...
I need replacement dust caps for my 68 Charger RT. The car has front disc brakes and I have tried several different dust caps, but none fit. Either they are way too small or a little bit too large. Body shop lost the well used originals. Any suggestions?
I know there have been several discussions about #1157 style LED tail light bulbs, but my question is which ones to use in a 67 Coronet. With the stock bulbs, my buddies tell me the tail lights are difficult to see in the day time through the bright chrome grille work.
I have tried some...
I must be crazy. My 68 Charger has been at the body shop for years undergoing some extensive cosmetic surgery. It finally came home a few weeks ago. Then today, my 67 Belvedere wagon came home from another body shop. Now I have two cars in kit form to reassemble and get back on the road. Hoping...
Trying to get wiring done one my 68 Charger while it's apart. I would like to avoid using old brittle used harnesses for the heater/ac controls, and the map light. But, I've checked Classic Industries, Year One, Laysons, and Evans.
Evans makes the console harness, which no one else seems to...
So, I may be crazy, but I did it again. I bought another 67 Belvedere II wagon. My existing wagon that I bought sight unseen years ago from a member of the Station Wagon Forum has a rebuilt motor, working a.c. and is probably as reliable and trouble free as a brand new car (one of the members...
So I bought a non running, partially disassembled project car in early April. Before I made the purchase, I made sure I had a shipper lined up who could bring me the car and made sure that the seller could hold on to the car for the 4 to 6 weeks the shipper said it might be for the pickup. All...
I think I'm slipping. I only took about 2100 pictures at Chrysler Carlisle this year, while the number of registered show cars broke a record. For those that can view photo albums on Facebook, here are links to the photos:

Is the back tailgate glass interchangeable between a 67 B-body wagon and a 70 B-body wagon. I know the roof is the same but that the side glass is different. But I believe a 70 has a two way tailgate so I don't know if the 67 and the 70 glass is the same.
The accelerator pump on the Stromberg 2bbl carb on my 66 poly 318 Sport Fury is sticking in the up position. I tried installing a new one (part of a rebuild kit from NAPA) but have the same trouble. A stronger spring likely won't make a difference as it seems to take some effort to push it down...
Okay, I know others have posted their photos from Carlisle, but I thought I would post links to my pictures anyway.
Theres a couple hundred pictures at each link. There are 9 photo albums for 2012. I think I took over 1600 pictures this year...

29th annual Mopar show and racing at Mason Dixon Dragway in Boonesboro, Maryland. Gates open at 8am.
Always a good show (if it doesn't rain).

I have a 67 Coronet hardtop. I had the glass removed when the car was painted and a glass shop I've used for over 20 years re-installed the glass (at the body shop) using new front and rear gaskets I purchased from Steele Rubber Parts. The rear glass never sealed up and the glass guy came back...
I took a few photos at the Mopar Nationals of 71 and up B-bodies. Heres a link to the photos.

Just ran across this Forum and decided to stop in for a while and see what its like here. I am a member of other automotive forums as well (mostly Mopar, like the Barracuda Owners Group and the Dodge Coronet Registry).
I have been a Mopar guy for the entire 30 + years I've been driving. Like...
