@gamercier. Thank you for posting these up! The EAD pad is a recoil hit of the hammer. EAD is 6 17. I missed it by a couple of days! I am curious to see the fender tag of the 306978 car.

I am a few days late to this thread. Thank you @dadsbee for pointing it out. Below are my comments to the above posts.
The A12 cars were built from 3/10/69 to 7/11/69, the last day of production at Lynch Road for the 1969 model year. The 329 and 426 dates we see on the fender tags are called...
The inspection marks you are referring to were used at the Lynch Road plant. In 1969 there was a "Paint OK" inspector stamp placed on the right fender tab connecting to the yoke.
The "4F" inspector stamp was located in the glove box.
The most used colors for the stamps are orange or yellow...
Where there is smoke there is fire. This topic continues and is fueled by many of the points made. "Cheapsunglasses" comments are to the point and have merit.
I see this same scenario playing out in the shooting sports. Most gun clubs (shotgun) are inhabited by a group of old curmudgeons who...
Welcome aboard Jason. You have a nice combination with the white accents. The 99 code is for the exterior paint as noted above. Not unusual as it is one of various codes used to indicate a special order paint.
If you post a picture of the tag, we can answer your question of the rarity and...
I was in Dallas last week. Made it a point to stop by and see the Gas Monkey complex. Say what you want, RR has done OK for himself. They were filming the day I was there so no visits inside the shop.
The gift shop was pretty cool by itself. Yes, I bought an overpriced t shirt as a memento...
Wisconsin is pretty calm. As I thought about it, this is what I came up with.
Large predators: We have the occasional mountain lion siting in the northern part of the state. Very rare to see them. Wolves are more common. I have seen many over the years up north. Black bears are everywhere...
The Resto Rick product is the closest you can get to the factory finish. It takes multiple coats to get the texture to the OEM look. I use 2 gallons to do the 4 wheel wells and overspray details.
Application Tip: Take a picture of the area after application with your flash on. The paint will...
As a youngster I occasionally would have one on me. Fast forward to 1987. This is one of those life events that is burned into my memory.
I am a young engineering student at UW Platteville. First class of the semester a curly gray haired cantankerous looking professor (Edward O. Busby...
We have record of it being for sale in 2008/2009 and then the ads listing it today. No one I know of at the forum has laid eyes on it. Many of the comments have been echoed here. I will add the stripe. It has been wearing it for a long time. Pretty creative art work.
At this price I would...
Thank you for posting! All of the potential VIN would be new to me. After close examination, I see WS23L9A164685. I base this on other VIN stamps in this date range.
Turbine68RT, thank you again for rutting this out. Every data point we have helps us unravel the mystery we call Lynch Road.

I have several close friends who frequent the MECUM events and are buyers. We all choose to spend our money based upon how much we have. If you don't have it, you can't play. It doesn't behoove anyone to make comments belittling those who have done better than others, and there is always...
