I found the small terminal lug on my starter loose, would this fry my wiring? also, If I have an aftermarket amp/volt gauge can I tap into the existing wires or should I run separate wires? Thanks
Thanks everyone for the help. I'm in the process of buying a harness from smithchargers on this site. hopefully that will fix it.

OK, just got done taking my instrument panel out and there are no wires going to my amp meter. Just a round connector that plugs in to the back of the panel. everything looks fine with the connector but I was checking everything and there's a thick black wire that goes thru the fire wall, I...
Yea, it will start if I hold the wires, when I let go it dies. I have removed the bulk head connections, cleaned and used dialetric grease before reinserting.
There wasn't a particular wire, it was a bunch of wires. I looked for a loose wire but couldn't find one. That's why I was asking about a common ground. So do I need to check individual wires behind my dash?

My car lost all power after checking usual stuff and nothing happening, I was moving wires under the dash and the lights came on. when I let go, they turned off. I don't see anything loose under the dash. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm wondering the same thing about my 69 Bee. Most of the metal on the car was replaced but my vin and fender tag match. My rad support doesn't match and rear quaters don't have any numbers on them. Could it be that they replaced the rad support? The car is red now but original color was Bronz...
I have a 69 Bee and I'm having trouble finding partial vin # on the car I know alot of metal has been replaced but Does anyone know where all the vin# or partial vin# would be stamped on the car to know it's a real Bee
