I had pulled my box last yr and had it rebuilt. when i swapped engines I put the box back in... low and behold shop had set input shaft preload to tight and it wouldn't center... I tried everything from alignment to all new front steering components... nothing fixed it.. I wanted a borgeson box...
i recently put 3.55 gears in my 8.25.. i was debating on putting in a lunchbox locker as it can be installed without pulling carrier again... does anyone run these? how are the street manners? its just a weekend driven car... no track time..
Can you use a steering box from a 72 charger in a 73 charger? Is only difference pitman arm size? Or does it matter because the suspension went iso in 73. I was asking because I found a killer deal on a 72 dodge charger borgenson steering box.
since my steering is still a little jacked im gonna go ahead and change my ball joints... upper and lower? what size is the upper ball joint socket and is lower same size? also are both top and bottom threaded?
where is a good place to fins the socket needed?

I'm looking to rebuild my steering column in my 73 charger.. its a column shift that has been converted to a floor shift... i can find the turn signal, ignition switch and key tumbler, but what about bearings? is there a rebuild kit with bearings or am i just gonna have to pull and separate...

I recently added Mopar xhd rear springs in my 73 dodge charger. Will a factory shock be OK or do I need a longer shock from a different vehicle so it don't pull the body to the springs? I want to stiffen the rear up a little as well.
