So, i was looking at getting the AR097 front spring hanger to move my axle back an inch (the 62s are way off center and look odd) and i would like to run a 29 or 30" tire if possible.. Last night i measure from the center of the axle to the front and got 16.5" which seems like alot.. and pretty...

So.. i keep seeing stuff about having to change the k-frame from 62 to the newer angled mounts... is there a reason for this other than using the newer mounts? I know the engine goes back like 1.5" but i don't see why that's a major deal in a beater.. Just don't want to try to hunt one down...
