Some of you may have seen the “for sale” thread from lxmodguy, selling his 63. We’ve been friends for quite sometime and we could never meet up dur to him living in Texas and myself in Commiefornia. We moved to Texas in January of this year and lxmodguy was talking about a 65 Satellite he was getting and wanting to put a Gen 3 Hemi in it and asked if I could do it for him. In exchange, he’d give me the 63. You bet, I’m all over it.

Turns out the 65 was GARBAGE! Needed damn near every panel replaced and so he sold it. Then he got a 69 RR that had a “restoration” of sorts done to it about 10 years ago and asked if I could the swap in the RR. Not a problem.

So after our schedules finally sync up, he brought the 63 to me yesterday. He’s got EVERYTHING for it, just didn’t have the room on this trip to get it all here. It’s got a Freak Ride 4 link and factory k frame with sun frame connectors with a cage to tie it all together. It’s missing the trunk pan in its entirety, but I’m fuel cell can be mounted in the giant hole. Here’s a couple pics.

I’m starting to plan a carport and get it up, then the RR can get into my shop and my truck won’t be left to huge hail that Texas has, then the madness begins!!!
