I am installing in my roof rail seals and I have a problem maybe one of you can help with. I took mine apart so long ago I cannot recall its position.

Where does the roof rail mount in the front? There are two slots molded into the end of the rubber where it comes to a point. I assume these are for two screws. I think I found where they mount but I want to be sure.

If you have a 64 Polara and can shoot me a photo of the roof rail at the front near where the door (mine are not on yet) wing window lands that would be great. Thanks. Bill

I got it placed correctly. Turns out it can only end at one spot.

Putting my 64 back together again. Headliner in (that was fun), and the carpet is installed. Working on headlight buckets and wiring today. Having the furnace in my barn has been fantastic through this winter and through Covid. Late spring/early summer on the street and put to the strip.

Hood scoop hole cut (fits perfectly over air filter). The hood is on the car, now just needs aligned.

Very nice! What did you use for the center side chrome insert? Paint or stickers?

That is a great looking '64 Polara project you have going there. The car really looks nice in white. I am reassembling my '64 Polara 4-door hardtop. It is a Canadian car with factory buckets and console. This is not a Polara 500, but a Canada-only Sport Package option car. I am second owner and have had it since 1980. In all that time, I have only seen one other like it. I have a 440 in it, dressed to look like a 426 Street Wedge. Big blocks in Canada at the time were painted red, so that is what I have done. I am currently putting Vintage Air in it.

You car looks great. Lots of nice work. It is amazing how different Canadian cars were than the American versions. I have never seen a sedan with those options here. Pretty cool.
