1967 coronet restomod/pro touring build

Here’s the radiator I’m getting, getting the fans and billet cap as well. Gonna take some work to make it fit since my car has a 22” opening but shouldn’t be too bad. 17x26 manual trans model since I’ll be running a separate trans cooler

Just got back from the INDY show where I picked up my new 17x26 cold case radiator. This thing is gorgeous! The finish is real nice I thought I would have to polish it up but no this thing is ready to roll. Also got the shroud And the dual 12” fans as well. With 2 rows of 1.25” tubes I have no doubts about the cooling on this thing. Thank you to @Ccas for working with me on this purchase and for giving me a really great deal. Will definitely be using you guys again!

Nothing too exciting today, got in the shop and took the old coilovers off the rear and measured for my new crusaders on ordering tomorrow. According to my measurements the shocks sent with my 4 link kit were 3” too short.

Thanks, I’m happy to be back in the shop wrenching. Been too long, I hate winter

Did you move the links inboard?

I bet if you moved them in, the old coil overs would fit.

Possibly, I’m going to do it eventually, run it like this for a couple years. I sold the old ones already putting a order in tomorrow.

Gotcha.

When/if you do, mini tub and get some steam rollers!!

Would moving the links in board effect the ride height? Yes I want to minitub it eventually, maybe after I get my aluminum block and step up the power. Got a 275/60/15 on it now, guys are hooking and booking 8 second passes on a 275

The shocks I took off measure 14” eye to eye fully extended. My ride height measurement came in at 17-1/4”

No, moving the springs/links onboard does nothing to ride height. Your coil overs when adjusted will set your height.

these shocks fully extended at 14” it was sitting way too low. Coil springs adjusted almost all the way up.

Does the coil overs come with springs? I’m thinking out loud here, but since your old ones were too long they had matching springs, so the shorter coil overs may not work correctly with those springs. Talk to the people your ordering from and see what advice they have.
