Blasting day . No real surprises. Original doors need some love. Original trunk lid and hood are pretty nice- trunk needs some work on the lip and a dent removed. I bought two rust free fenders and they are mint !
Underneath there is no surprises since this was a non undercoated car. I have the floor pans and torsion bar crossmember (from AMD) as well as a new trunk pan- didn’t really need it but want to really blast the frame rails so we will put in a new pan.

Looks great! Did you blast it yourself or have a service do it? How did the underneath look? I can't wait to start on mine.

Had someone do it. He was good
I have this new metal: floor pans, trunk pan (even though it didn’t need it), quarters , drop downs, outer wheel houses and torsion bar crossmember

Going to have to do some work below the heater box - I have a nice parts car with a good section and one shock tower is bad near the frame. Again- clean parts car will donate those pieces

Heater core restoration under way thanks to my buddy Gary Coates.
Able to use a few parts from my parts car’s heater core

Car is in epoxy. Places with no epoxy are getting new metal (other than roof- just didn’t need to blast that )
$700 gallon- yikes

Never hear of a convertible mirror - ha
Well let me know if you do some mirror research and find it's wrong. I have a few HDTP ones to choose from. One in a 67 belvedere, I'll have to see the condition.
See if your screws even line up..

Correct. If you're interested in a trade, lemme know.
And the measurement of your outer holes on the window frame of the car for your mirror.
