- Engine rebuilt to factory spec - only 500 miles on it
- Factory Burnt Orange with White interior
- Factory Buckets & console
- RARE FACTORY OPTIONED White Painted Roof (previous owner painted it that same as body colour)
- Matching 318 and 904 trans
- 3:23 Sure grip
- Manual Steering
- Disk Brakes up front


Is this car worth 26k USD in today's market?

If I had 26K and the rest of the car shows itself as well as it does here, I’d buy it. I hate to see this up for sale with empty pockets because this is one of my top three to own.

26 is a good asking price IMO.

Contrary to the mindset that musclecar values are going to suddenly drop due to the aging demographic of the owners and the lack of interest by younger folks, prices just keep climbing.

Car presents very well.....I like the fact it is kept as a Sat.....I also like the exterior color and the interior combination........

If the car is all original metal that in itself carries a premium IMHO.....

For me knowing the costs to restore any car.....to find a body missing 50% of parts for 5-7k and then dump 20k in body and paint and you have not even gotten to machine shop work parts etc....

The car is priced well....

Sorry, but I'm cold-blooded when it comes to car values. I would check with Hagerty or another collector
insurance company to find the value of an auto. When you buy anything, and it gets T-boned, it's only
worth X-amount of $.Looks very nice though!

Thanks - I’m looking for advice on a sell price mainly, not so much insurance blue

They use simple valuation tools.....Any logical person knows when they insure a classic they push the highest "agreed to value" to insure their car.......So if a loss occurs, you're financially covered.....The companies rarely give a hard time unless you want a crazy value....


Insurance value tools do not equal selling prices......not even close....

I haven’t seen anything for sale in the high teens of this caliber, however who knows? Depends on the market I guess.

Beautiful car. However, $26k is getting close to RR money. Yes I know a RR in similar condition would probably be $10k more because that is around what I sold my 70RR for last year. There are very few buyers out there that want an excellent condition Satellite for that price, especially with only a 318. My current ride is a 70 Satellite convertible, which is a much rarer and in my opinion more desirable car than a Satellite hardtop, and I didn't pay $26k for mine a year ago. It is not quite a show car, but very good condition. I think you can probably get $20k for the car but $26k might be a long wait for the one buyer to come along who will pay the higher number for a Satty. Good luck with the sale. It IS a beautiful car.

Beautiful car! IMO $20K is a more realistic number just as NRJJ explained. However, you never know who is out there looking to buy a Satellite! Good luck selling!

One thing I would suggest, if you can, paint the top back white. Minimal cost, but would help increase originality and keep you closer to your asking price. Plus it would just look great!
