1970 RR Gas Tank with 2 vent tubes

Did these 1970 Tanks with 2 vents use a vented Gas Cap?

Also does vent line that goes up into trunk & back down inside the frame rail hook up to the short vent in the tank that ends just inside the front of the tank
I know some of the aftermarket tanks have these vents reversed

Lar, no vented caps. The short line in the tank goes to the long line outside the tank, and the long line in the tank goes to the short vent line outside it. There's been lots of posts on this already and you can find a diagram from the FSM showing that.

the vented cap i have only lets air in & not out of the tank
