1971 R/T hood with louvers FYI

I am posting this as a heads-up or FYI only I am not associated at all with the seller ...

For anyone looking for a steel hood with the R/T louvers , I was browsing craigslist Louisville Kentucky and there is a hood for sale and it looks pretty nice , it is Very expensive at $ 1800.00

I'd love to buy it to use to make a fiberglass mold of the louver part (for my glass hood) but I cannot afford to buy the hood

looks ok with some surface rust on the back side, so not totally clean. The thing that scares me is what is that primer hiding? 1800.00? I'm not convinced that would be a fair price, but that's just me.
