1971 RamCharger adjustment

hello i'm currently looking into how to adjust the height of the ramcharger door flap when openning. it doesnt seem to open all the way?

it hods vacum and closes fine when the car is shut of or the switch is turned to "closed"

just the height isnt right...

is there a way to adjust this?

There’s no adjustment. Look for “slop” in the overall mechanism or a vacuum actuator not opening fully. Work it by hand to open it all the way and see if that helps you identify the problem

Check the “pod” rod on the flapoer main rod. Without looking at mine ( to lazy to go outside lol) I thought there was a set screw to give more or less travel
