Had to fabricate some adapter plates to mount the fans.

Mounted the battery in the trunk. Wasn't sure I was going to but once it was done I was glad I did. Being able to isolate it has been more than handy. And the room in the front was needed for fan relays. Worked out ok.

You cansee the after market A/C unit from vintage air mounted in the back. I needed a place for the A/C controls. Decided on the area between the ashtray and the glove box. This gives the passenger access to the controls and frees up the old spot for something else.

On the roof I used both dynamat with insulator on top. And then installed the new black headliner. Since the picture I've installed the trim and smoothed it out some. Still need to heat some spots but it's looking pretty good.

Got the back seats installed along with the painted panels and some new carpet over dynamat and insulator. Think they came out pretty good.

And installed rear shelf that I covered in felt and installed speakers.

During the process we got the new shop built so I could move out of the garage. Great to have some room. But, as with getting any space, more projects find their way in..

This is the bellcrank box for the throttle. Really wrestled with where the best place to mount it would be. Originally planned on mounting it too the engine. But in the end this just seemed like the best choice.

Had to show this. I've been doing a pretty fair amount of wiring to support the modifications I'm doing. A buddy recommended I get one of these. It is awesome. You can not only check for power and ground easily, you can "push" power or ground as well so you can check circuit operation, bulbs, ets quick and easy. Not a commercial, but great tool.

I had to get two controllers form Dakota digital. One is for the fans, the other is to interface the original hood tach with the new hemi electronics. Looking for a place to mount them I decided on this set up in the back of the glove box. Working out pretty well so far.

My seats are heated as well as powered. So to control the heaters I installed these buttons on the console.

These are the seats. From a Chrysler 300 S. Not sure what year. I had to do some work to figure out the wiring but it wasn't too bad. I've installed the connectors for power and the circuit for the heaters as I said before. The back seats are actually heated as well but I'm not installing the control for that, at least not right now.

This is the engine start switch I installed in the console. I have the toggle switch controlling ACC power to the Button for ignition. The other three switches are for driving lights, air grabber hood scoop operation, and fan override respectively.

I installed the scan gauge in the old heater control place. This lets me monitor obd2, clear codes, etc.

The console ended up with a fair amount of wiring. Ended up installing a couple of terminal buses for the wiring to the seat power and heater circuits. Stuffed in there a bit but seems to be working ok. And with the stereo I added a usb port for the rear passenger on the back of the console.

The new stereo. Not complete yet, trim needs some work. Has usb, blue tooth, and satellite. And a crap ton (technical term) of wiring to hide..

Had to fabricate a new bracket for the transmission shifter linkage. It was a bit trickier than I had thought it would be. I used the 545RFE and there isn't a lot of support for it. But we got it hooked up and seems to be working. Haven't got a drive shaft yet and haven't tried to shift it with the car running yet.

Mounted a fuel gauge in line to the fuel rail. Glad I did. Makes trouble shooting fuel issues much easier. It's reading what the pump initializes with in this pic, running it's at 58 psi.. ish with the bouncing..

And finally for some reason I got the bright idea that it would be cool to have foot well lighting with a control circuit that dimmed out like the new cars do. It will be cool I think, but not sure yet if it's worth all the wiring.

That's pretty much up to date. I have started it. Sounds awesome with that cam, but really loud with open headers. So one of my next things will be to get the exhaust installed. Straight pipes out the back. She's staying loud. Had a problem on first few times it was running it would suddenly shut off by itself. Trying to start it would get me a loud electrical clicking but no starter. One positive thing out of wiring in that lighting, if needed an input to from the ignition button. So I tuned over the console and started wiring it in. In the process I found a wire on the ACC switch that had come part way off. It was making enough contact to work sometimes but would vibrate and lose connection I guess. Seems to be working with no problems since I attached the wire all the way so I'm hoping it's fixed.

Next items on the list are to finish out and attach the console. Install the front seats. Have the exhaust made and installed. Get the brakes finished up. Have a drive shaft made and install it. And maybe, just maybe, I'll get to drive her by the end of the summer.

I missed my goal of taking her to Dequion for the Street Machine National show. But there is always next year. My new goal is to have her at good guys at the Texas Motor Speedway in September. Still a lot to do for that to happen.

Trying to attach the URL for the start up. Seems to work. This is the first startup, open headers.
