Hello, I have had my '72 since I was 11 (I am 18 now) and I have been off and on restoring it, storing it, and finding parts. It's a father and son project, but he works midnights and I am a full-time engineering student and a manager at a dollar general so our time is very limited. I really like the rallye gauges, well everyone does, but I have the wiring harness for the rallye gauges and I have my original harness for the whole car. Could anyone help me out with how to match up the harnesses? It's an SE, A/C and rear defogger, I would like to still be able to use the rear defogger.

Thanks everyone,
John

Go to this website, where there is a wealth of information.

This link takes you to the service manuals, but in the main menu section in the upper left will take you back to the home page. The 72 Plymouth manual should be real close to what you need. Download the manual, and go to the electrical section.

The wire color codes are the same between dashes, the connectors are different. The Standard gauge cluster uses the one connector to the pins on the back, the Rallye has wires running to each location. Basically to go from Standard to rallye you just need to extend the harness withe the proper connector for each gauge and light.
