1973 B5 blue w/red stripes Road Runner GTX sunroof car with 59k mile original paint original survivor

Thanks for the clarification, would the deluxe wheel have a medallion then? I will have to look for a picture of one as I don't think I've ever seen one

Cool it was ordered with rear speaker.

maybe someone added the rear fader when they upgraded to AM/FM.

To me it’s a fairly uniquely and deliberately optioned car. Expensive RR/GTX, but then RM21 coupe with fixed 1/4 window (cheaper), and then sunroof, A/C, etc.

More importantly...it has a 440-4V!

Life is good.

That was my original draw to the car, couldn't agree more
Have you posted any exterior pictures of your car on FBBO?

I have not, after I bought the car and loaded it on the trailer I decided I was going to take it to my house to work on instead of at my shop. Being it has a broken torsion bar and sits extremely funny I never took any of the car other than while loading it. Unfortunately, my home garage is pretty full with other project cars and engine projects of others and I do not have the space to take any descent shots. Once I finally find the correct torsion bar and the other couple of pieces I'm looking for to have it running & driving on its own I will pull it out and do so.

I needed a old license plate for a different project and decided to go thru my stash and found this 1973, it’s the perfect patina for the GTX

Any Buicks, Ponchos, or Olds?
After looking at RR fan Dan's project post and all of the issues he is having I decided to go back to the post I created about my car that unfortunately wasn't well received by many, including Dan and realized just how special my car is with NO rust damage other than a very small spot on the front edge of the sunroof panel. I haven't been adding to this post but I have been working on the car off and on. Since DeltaV asked about these 3 other brands I thought I would acknowledge another special car I've found since. Another extremely rust free and although I wouldn't say survivor car due to it being partially disassembled and a few aftermarket parts, very original and mostly original paint 1966 Olds 442 L69. Most people don't know what this is, it's a 1 year only, (3) 2bbl, manual transmission only Cutlass variant. The only thing cooler would be a W30 which basically is the same car less the more aggressive camshaft and a fresh air induction system. Back to my GTX, I've been quietly collecting the couple of #'s matching parts that have been swapped out from its time on the road and time permits I will be sharing the car and its journey in the hopefully very near future. These 73 & 74 cars are challenging to do for sure and unfortunately, they were never thought to be highly collectible in the past which makes finding original or aftermarket parts scarce.

Definitely looking forward to seeing it, as well as reading about the journey!
