1999 5.9 swap to 67 Charger

After my 440 fiasco, I've found a 318 from a 1999 Durango for my 1967 Charger. The idea of a newer style (fuel injection) appeals to me as my main focus is a daily driver with good gas mileage. I can get the engine harness, computer, and all. As far as the block itself, I don't see any issues, but what about transmission or anything else? Is the swap feasible? Has anyone done it? What are the differences?

I believe MoPar Action magazine did a similar swap into an early 60's Plymouth. I say go for it!

I found a lot of things online last night. Found a few things to watch for too. I don't see why it won't be an easy (enough) job. Just looking to avoid some of the pitfalls.

I thought the 5.9 was the 360 SB and the 5.6 is a 318 SB?????

5.2 is the 318.
