2 post China job here. I don't use it daily but at least weekly for the past 4 yrs. IMO, it's the only way to go. My dad has both and uses the 2 post the most also.
Dave,
Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe that you have posted pictures of your cars on both types of lifts. Maybe posting those pics showing the different applications they could be utilized for?
These are the photos I believe you were referring to. The asymmetric 2 posts I have in my warehouses are great for working on the entire underside of a vehicle. The 4 post are good at storing any model or style of vehicle with relative ease. You just drive up on them and do not have to adjust support arms when swapping cars, like with the 2 post units. You can also install permanent track lighting on the 2 post units which is a huge benefit for working and detailing the underside of a car. The photo of my Mustang (below) was taken without using a flash. It's completely illuminated by LED Track Lighting. The strips are concealed so you can't even tell it's there unless you turn them on. The only real draw back to the 4 post is not being able to rotate or remove the tires while the vehicle is suspended.

Times 5. I need to get rid of a few for space. Either that or get more lifts! (lol) Both the Pace Car & the Z06 are brand new "older cars" with no miles. You might have mistaken the "red one" for the white one I picked up a while back?!?

Also, do I spy a scat pack challenger fender in one of those pics?
Yeah.......saw it when I went to a Dealership with Dave Stuart last Friday and thought I'd get it. Now I just need to find room for the 4 Door when it comes Home in a few of months. (lol)
