Hells Bells; I'm down -3 spots, with 3 1st round marque losers, P/SM Eddy Krawiec was my only guy who did squat {runner up, Harleys are dominant again, with favorable rules yet again},
It seems allot of the pro-teams couldn't handle the -300ft below sea level air in eliminations, troubles taming down the power, pulling enough clutch & compression out,
a few record runs too, P/S 6.46 @ 215 & F/C 3.95 {no back up}, it's like they were running on two complete different tracks for some teams...

Congrats to 64Bel +4 spots...

Super-Bee-Ski did well in up +3 spots also...

I hear ya Bud, down 4 spots. Was jacked to see AJ #1 then to go out ing the 1st round...OUCH!!
Oh well, theres more time.

Way to go Bel and Super Bee!

I guess I need to jump on the Doug Kalitta bang wagon, like everyone else has, to get all them little & big points too, seems when ever I go with Kalitta he goes out 1st round, really thought his time was up, obviously I'm wrong...

Bud - I was on the DK bandwagon for awhile last year, but he never seems to be able to seal the deal and win (at least not much).

I'm picking for Bristol right now while it's fresh in my mind. I might change them later, but here we go.

TF Antron Brown
FC Cruz Pedregon
PS Jeg Coughlin

I noticed the same thing 64Bel :iamwithstupid:
Bristol Thunder Valley picks June 13th-15th

T/F Shawn Langdon {can't do the DK pick, it'll probably bite me in the arse too} kind of undecided, Antron Brown has been failing me lately, still a favorite...

F/C Robert Hight {I wanted to go with Ron Capps, but he's just not doing it this year, yet !!}

P/S Jeg Coughlin {want to pick AJ, but he's been hit or miss lately}

no P/SM

my picks subject to change, it's almost 2 weeks away

Ill go with Kalitta
Hight and
Jeg.
Good luck guys

Here's your Tuesday-before-the-event reminder before the 10th race of the 2014 season, the 14th Annual Ford NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, June 13-15, at Bristol Dragway in Bristol, TN.
I haven't posted a reminder for the past few events because we just got off three events on consecutive weekends. We finally got a weekend off to lick our wounds and rest up. But now we're starting on a stretch of four consecutive National events: Thunder Valley in Tennessee this weekend, then off to New England Dragway in Epping (NH), back to Route 66 Raceway in Joliet (IL), and then Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk (OH) before we get another open weekend.
As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Friday, June 13 in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 5:00PM EDT (2:00PM PDT).
The weather again looks to be 'iffy' with the current forecast calling for 40% chance of thundershowers on both Friday and Saturday, then improving to 20% chance of scattered showers on Sunday. High temp in the low 80s through the weekend.
The Thunder Valley Nationals entry list is posted on http://www.nhra.com/events/entrylist10.aspx and now shows 17 Top Fuel, 16 Funny Car and 17 Pro Stock entries, but the counts are still subject to change.
Pro Stock Motorcycle will not compete at this event.
Keep checking http://www.nhra.com/events/entrylist10.aspx for an updated entry list.
Get your picks posted and GOOD LUCK!
