I just read on NHRA.com that Drew Skillman has bolted the Elite Motorsports team and taken his Camaro to Gray Motorsports. He'll be racing under the Gray Motorsports banner this weekend at the New England Nationals.

Congrats to 'Nick2317' (FBBO) for earning the Top Qualifier title of the 2017 NHRA New England Nationals with a very nice total of 22.0 bonus points. He picked the #1 qualifier in Top Fuel, the #2 qualifier in Funny Car and the #4 qualifier in Pro Stock. Way to go!
'6pk2goDemon' (FABO) and 'Back in Time' (FABO) were just behind with 21.0 points.

We have 17 players for the 9th event of the 2016 NHRA "Pick 'Em game season and 15 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers with no Round 1 head-to-head matchups and a possibility of only one head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations if they all survive the opening round.
* 7 different Funny Car drivers with two Round 1 head-to-head matchups. One between #4 qualifier John Force (1 pick) and #13 qualifier Bob Tasca III (1 pick), and the other between #8 qualifier Courtney Force (2 picks) and #9 qualifier Robert Hight (1 pick). There is also a possibility of one head-to-head matchup in the 2nd round of eliminations.
* 5 different Pro Stock drivers picked this week and a possibility of one head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations.

Congratulations to 'Nick2317' (FBBO) for being "Top Eliminations Picker" with a very nice event total of 117.0 points. He picked the class winners in Top Fuel and Pro Stock, and his Funny Car pick won two rounds of eliminations before losing in the semi-finals. He was also helped with ET bonus points in Top Fuel.
'64BEL' (FBBO), 'Duster79' (FABO) and 'ocdart' (FABO) were right behind with 115.0 points.
