2016 6th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Get Ready To Make Your Picks!!!

Did you catch Cruz Pedregon's wild wheelstanding ride down the 1000' during the opening round of eliminations? I've never seen anything like that! Riding on the wheelie bars only for awhile, then through the lights with the front tires still waaaay up in the air waving "hello" to the cameras. I would've needed a new firesuit after that ride!
And how about Pro Stock Motorcycle? Going into the final event of the season with three riders within 3 points of each other. Going to be a wild time in Pomona. Who's going to be there?
I'll be there for Friday qualifying.

Congratulations to '64BEL' (FBBO) for grabbing "Top Eliminations Picker" title for the Toyota Nationals with a nice event total of 127.5 points. His Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle picks lost in the final round of eliminations and his Top Fuel and Funny Car picks lost in the semi-final round of eliminations.
'Gpuller' (FBBO) was the event runner-up with 118.0 points.
'johnnycuda' was the top FABO finisher with 117.5 points.

Here's where the bonus points were earned if you picked the right drivers:

Top Fuel
E.T. - Clay Millican, 3.689 during qualifying
Speed - J.R. Todd, 329.02 during Round 3 of eliminations

Funny Car
E.T. - Jack Beckman, 3.871 during qualifying
Speed - John Force, 331.94 during qualifying

Pro Stock
E.T. - Jason Line, 6.676 during Round 1 of eliminations
Speed - Alex Laughlin, 206.16 during qualifying

Pro Stock Motorcycle
E.T. - Jerry Savoie, 6.880 during qualifying
Speed - Jerry Savoie, 194.24 during Round 1 of eliminations

Here are the game point standings after the 5th event of the "Countdown" - not many position changes but a lot of tightening up of the points:

The final event of the 2017 season is the 52nd annual NHRA Finals, Nov. 10-13, at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona. As always, your picks must be posted before the start of Pro Qualifying that is scheduled to start at 3:00PM EST (12:00 Noon PST) on Friday, Nov. 11. The entry list on NHRA.com currently shows 19 Top Fuel, 24 Funny Car, 18 Pro Stock and 29 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries but those are always subject to change by race day.
If you made any changes to your 'locked-in' picks this week and didn't specify the changes as new locked-in picks, then you'll reverted back to your previous 'locked' picks for the NHRA Finals.
Post your picks and good luck!

Holy cow Budnicks!
You DID GOOD this year!

only 50 pt's back, but only 1 race left & most will pick the same as I do...

I wish I was leading, all my regulars are points leaders too...
Just the couple times I veered off course :BangHead:,
picked someone other than my reg.'s, I should have known better,
just to try to get a slight points advantage, from everyone picking the same,
trying to separate myself & failed horribly too... :realcrazy:

How the hell did THAT happen? Me - top eliminator? Everyone else must have really stunk it up - LOL.

alsant, and I think I speak for all of FBBO, bring this thing home!!

Here's your FINAL Tuesday before the event reminder of the 2017 season. The Auto Club NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona qualifying starts Friday.

Pro Qualifying starts at 3:00PM EST (12:00 Noon PST).
Make sure you get your picks posted in time.
Choose well and post up your picks!

What the heck no qualifying at all today on the boob tube :BangHead:
freaken' FS1 isn't any better than ESPN2 was,
set aside a time slot for Drag Racing Dammit
It ain't rocket science, Fox programing idiots...

I know it'll be shown tomorrow morning but that :bs_flag:
I want to see it the same damn day, live pref....
Getting really tired of all the other sports, preempting Drag Racing...

I guess I should be happy  it's at-least not softball or ladies basketball,
like it was on ESPN2 :icon_fU:

Another bitch is why no televised Pro-Stock qualifying yesterday too :bs_flag:
let alone never showing Pro-Mod & only until a couple weeks later
all crammed into a 1/2 hr show...
