2021 11th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Time To Burn Some NITRO!!!

It was on Fox Sports, Bud. But not listed correctly.

alsant - our daughter and her bf escaped Chicago at the beginning of April. They relocated to about an hour outside of Denver. And they kept their current, well paying jobs since working from home has become a permanent situation for them. To me it's like they were freed from prison. Their quality of life has soared. So glad they got out of there. And congrats to you, too!

It’s definitely about quality of life now

Also tax’s are a lot less out here. What we pay one year in Chicago area will last us almost four years here. Also it was a lot of money to move from Chicago to here and we sold almost all our furniture.

Yeah I was able to enjoy the race ! We are all moved in to Arizona now ! Don’t miss Illinois and the Chicago area at all. Well at least for now
congrats on the move...

enjoy

it's a dry heat :poke:

Bud were are in Prescott valley at about 5000 ft
We get the heat but not like Phoenix and we get snow but not like flagstaff.

I remembered you saying
you were dealing with the Inland Empire car show down there
I just figured it was late in coming...
You said something to that effect in an earlier post too...

I figured no harm no foul, he'll post it...

I had no thoughts of,
that "you forgot/slipped your mind"... :poke:

Thanks for all you do...

New England Nats

T/F Steve Torrence

F/C Ron Capps

P/S Greg Anderson

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I wonder if they will get full fields or locals filling out the extra spots
crazy people that use to be regulars don't even compete anymore
for instance
where's Tony Schumacher, why the hell isn't his dad fielding a car
I thought T/F Cory McClenathan & Larry Dixon were both putting
teams together too
or the also-rans/locals in T/F & F/C
where are they all ?

Only 12 cars in T/F is a joke
Only 13 cars in F/C is a joke
I remember the days of 60+ showing up for 16 spots
or the 32 car fields in both T/F & F/C
at Orange Co. & at Ontario Motorspeedway SoCal regularly
Hell even only 17 cars in P/S is a joke
too, I remember when 24-32+ would show up
just to attempt to get a spot

they need to boost purse $$$,
get people back into the staging lanes/pits

sad truly sad :soapbox: rant over

good luck everyone

I agree and wonder if it's because of the transportation cost to New England for some of the smaller independent teams.
The bigger teams are mostly located in Indianapolis and the tow to the West Coast has to cost more than the tow to New England.
I can easily see NHRA dropping this event if the pro category car counts continue low.
It also makes me wonder what the car counts are going to be like for the Western Swing. Car counts are not yet posted on nhra.com for the Mile-High Nationals.
