2022 12th Annual FABO NHRA "Pick 'Em" Game - Time To Burn Some More NITRO!!!

Vegas "just win baby" 4 wide

T/F Steve Torrence
(I was thinking of going with Mike Salinas)

F/C Robert Hight
(I was thinking of going with Ron Capps)

P/S Greg Anderson
(I was thinking of going with Aaron Stanfield)

probably sucky picks again,
I'm stubborn, it'll probably bite me square in the arse
certain drivers, no matter how good, I will never choose/pick
screwed too many times picking them
&/or I just don't like them

good luck everyone

-----------------------------------------

Salinas is Pts leader in T/F
Hight is Pts leader in F/C
Stanfield is Pts leader in P/S

other than Robert Hight, I never saw that coming, who'dofthunk

oc - please lock in Salinas for my TF pick from this point on. I'm bailing on Kalitta.
Watch - now he'll start to win.

I knew I should've gone with Stanfield :poke:

Congratulations to 'SSG Karg' (FBBO) for winning the 2021 NHRA Four-Wide Nationals Top Qualifier title with an outstanding total of 23.0 bonus points. He picked the #1 qualifier in Funny Car, and the #2 qualifier in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock. Way to go!
'johnnycuda' (FABO) and 'TT5.9mag' were both right behind in #2 qualifier spot with 22.5 bonus points each.
More great picks!

We have 14 players this week and 13 different driver combos made up of:
* 5 different Top Fuel drivers. Brittany Force (7 picks) and Steve Torrence (4 picks) are in the same Round 1 quad. There is a possibility of multiple picks all being in the same Round 2 quad if all picks survive Round 1.
* 6 different Funny Car drivers. Ron Capps (5 picks) and Tim Wilkerson (1 pick) are in the same Round 1 quad; and John Force (2 picks) and Cruz Pedregon (1 pick) are in the same Round 1 quad. There is a possibility of multiple picks all being in the same Round 2 quad if all picks survive Round 1.
* 5 different Pro Stock drivers. Greg Anderson (6 picks) and Kyle Koretsky (1 pick) are in the same Round 1 quad. There is a possibility of multiple picks all being in the same Round 2 quad if all picks survive Round 1.

Good luck all!

Woohoo! I was 3 for 3 - all first round losers! :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

congrats to @SSG Karg (FABO ? not FBBO ? don't know that one)
for qualifying picks

IIRC a couple of my picks went 2 rds...
I was sort of 'zoned out', watching yesterday
wasn't paying attention very well, working on stuff
after getting my dad home

Damn P/S was a close field
freaken' Anderson, I need to go with younger blood it seems

lots of 3 cars runs & 1 car smoking the tires or shaking in all classes

a couple of weeks of time off retooling getting parts, a break now
The Last NHRA 'national event race' for in the Houston area next week,
it'll be sad to see it go away
(wasn't it called the Southern Nationals for years ?)

anyway, still staying near the bottom, I'm sure
I don't like it down here :poke:

I'll get results from Las Vegas posted either tonight or over the weekend.
Work's been crazy as we're getting ready to move to a new facility next week.
Have patience. The next race isn't until Houston in 2 more weeks.
