WTB 318 and Transmission

Hello all,

I have a 1962 Plymouth Fury with no drive train. This car will be used for road racing in the 24 Hours of LeMons series.

I'd like to put a 318 in it, so I'd like to get one with a trans at the same time. Manual would be preferred, but an auto could still work. My budget is ~$400. I'm in the Detroit metro area.

I have a 1970 318/904 still connected, pulled from a satellite, been sitting outside next to my shed with a piece of plywood covering it kind of. Ran and drove fine when pulled in the summer of 2013. I'm about 200 miles north of you. I'll take $200 if your interested.

I have a 1970 318 motor. I have 2 904 trannys but they are for 6 cylinders. Motor needs rebuilt. Will take $75.00 for it. I can ship or welcome to pick up. Motor is located near Carlisle fairgrounds in Pennsylvania. Let me know.

FYI, If you put a newer 318 LA engine in your '62 you will need the earlier 318 A motor mounts.

sold my 318 but I have the 727, 1967 Coronet variety. In Vermont. 200.00

I saw your ad looking for the engine & trans. I have a 273, with the matching 3-spd manual, column shifted trans, bell housing, and fly wheel. When I pulled these from the car, a '65 Belvedere II, I believe it was the first time disassembled. The odometer on the car showed about 38K, and I think that to be actual. The motor ran, but hasn't been for years now. My first car back in the '70 s was a Coronet 500, 273 auto, and I could bury that speedo easily when I wanted to, so these little SB s do go well. I would like to get $500 for the whole set-up. Let me know if you have any interest, I'm just east of Buffalo, NY.
