I have a question or two....I am converting over from a column shift auto to a 4 speed. Is there any indication on the left front frame rail as to where the clutch bracket mount is to be welded?? Also, once that is in place, how will I know where the clutch rod comes thru the firewall. Just trying to get things as close to factory as I can.
Thanks in advance.

I used the following images to locate the bracket on my car. Cudos to who originally posted these! There is an oval hole that has a factory plug on automatic cars that the clutch rod comes through just to the left of the column hole. You can see it in the last pic.

There is a slot in the top of the frame rail, that with a tab on the bracket, precisely locates the bracket location.
