426 Hemi Rocker Tip Geometry Adjustment

Everything hemi 3x cost and only concern is rocker arms hitting retainer no easy answers
Rocker to retainer clearance is good on close & open.

Guess it comes down to the chances we take and how much we want to spend to minimize the risk.

Seems like hemisphere aren’t made for long life(like big block Chevy )
Puts a lot wear on your guides & stem’s when you aren’t true
I choose to run the least spring pressure while many run a ridiculous springs even on the street
The racers love talked to have ran stock rockers
Unless you spend $$$ you’ll be wasting your time for 7000 or less

When you take your time and do it right there is longivity. Whenever I adjust the valves {solid roller}they just stay the same with no adjustment needed.
Street driven and once is a blue moon I'll get to the track.

I know Harland Sharp and others actually make different offsets in their rockers for different head brands. I coulda swore I saw some shim kits that would offset the shaft closer or further away from the valve for such instances using different valve train components with different combinations.

wedge motor ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I raced a stock set off rocker arms for 14 yrs on the old hemi belvedere , even with a cam dynamics 785 lift solid roller =no problems !!

Just a suggestion, I have been told not to run lash caps on a hydraulic cam. If a lifter bleeds down, it may toss the cap and then.....

this is #5 exhaust, the rocker arm looks short overall and doesn’t really cover up the valve tip. contact start at 30% and ends around 90%.

I know about the lateral shims that go around the rocker shafts as #5 has some of those shims installed.
Does the intake ride ok, or is it too far outside? Pull the alignment pins out of head then shift the whole assembly to align up. Once that head bolt is tight I doubt the stand will move around. I’m thinking seriously of putting one piece stainless valves in my build after seeing that mess on Nicks Garage with the Hemi loosing an ex valve head, 6 pistons, both heads, block will need 4-5 sleeves
