I bought a lil red express for restoration that had a 440 in it. I'm taking the motor out and plan on selling it at some point, but need some help identifying if and pricing if possible.

It is a 440 rb motor based off stamping 25364306.

It was built 3-22-67 and has a vin stamp of 8B149805.

It also has a stamp on top of motor with a d440 22HP and a sideways c and a.

I added a few photos if anyone is interested.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a 9-22 , so it's an early build 68 HP motor.

Yeah, just noticed that. It was hard to tell on the block and I didn't notice the 9 on the tag. Thanks.

The 3-22-67 is most likely the casting date of the block, not the build date.

8Bxxxxxx Vin indicates a 1968 car assembly, from Hamtramk plant, so likely from a charger rt.
Hamtramck built Darts, Valiants, Barracudas, and Chargers in 68. Ain't gonna find a 440 in the others in 68.

why isn't it turquoise?
Well that bolt in the valley pan rail looks wrong, so I'm going with
It was dunked, rebuilt, and painted a much fancier color.
